Addie at her finest!

10 months old

Addie loves to walk, in fact that is the only thing that makes her happy these days. She cruises along the furniture to her entertainment center and then crawls to the next destination. She is so busy, but we can't wait for her to take her first "real" step (we say that now)!! Aside from walking, Addie has mastered her "parade wave" and just learned how to clap. She is over eating baby puree and on to big girl food. Blueberries and watermelon are her newest favorites, but who knows what tomorrow will hold. Her hair is getting so curly- she is getting the McHugh curls for sure!!

Addie's first boo boo

Last Friday night Addie learned that stoves = hot!! She has been fascinated with shiny things and of course wants to touch everything, but she didn't like what happened when she touched the HOT saucepan lid on the stove. Ryan said that he heard her skin sizzle- not a good sign!! We ended up in the ER, because all the clinics were closed for the evening. She was a very well behaved patient and her burn is healing up very nicely. It was blistery and oozing, but now it is scabbing over. We just hope our trips to the ER are limited!!
