Emily Main Photography

We spoiled ourselves with another Emily Main photo session at Zephyr Cove, Lake Tahoe. Last year we were so bummed that Ryan couldn't be in the photos with Addie and I, so this year we made sure it was a family affair. Here are a few of our favorites.....

4th Fun ...or not

We left Reno on the 3rd of July heading towards Eugene, Oregon to spend the weekend with all the McHugh's. Murphy and Maralee have a beautiful house on a lake outside of Eugene with a few acres to roam around on. As always, they set out all sorts of games, activities, food, and drinks. Unfortunately, due to my overwhelming amount of school work and the Comprehensive Exam on Friday, I had to go back to Sisters on the 4th to study. This was the first year that I have not celebrated the 4th with fireworks and friends...bummer!

Reno...Tahoe....Almanor

We spent the last two weeks in the Reno/Tahoe area. My Grandpa passed away a few weeks back (RIP Grandpa Sonny) and we decided to stay in town for a few weeks. As always, the days are filled up fast with visiting family and friends. We took Addie to Lake Tahoe for a day and she loved the beach. Although it was rather cold that day, she was determined to build a sand castle (with chills all over her body)! We also spent a weekend at Grandma and "Poppi's" house at Lake Almanor. We had a blast being on the water, fishing, playing at the beach, and enjoying the sunshine. Addie had a love/hate relationship with her life vest (hated wearing it, but loved being in the water and on the boat). Ryan and I had to wear a life vest on the dock so that she would think it was the cool thing to do!

The best part about this trip (aside from spending time with my parents), was being able to see Cameron! Since our wedding (almost 4 years ago), I have only seen her once. She ended up being in town for her sister's wedding so we met up. It was just like old times- not stop laughing and giggling!

It hasn't as hard to leave this time because we will be back in town for a few weeks in August for the Rentsch Family Reunion.

Father's Day Celebration

This year for Father's Day, we celebrated with four generations of Larson's (Leslie's side of the family). We had Grandpa Bob, Leslie's brother Mark and his family, Riley, Leslie, Shauna, and the three of us. It was a lot of fun to have everyone together. The last time since an event like this was 5 years ago...way too long! Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there.
