The big trip East

I must be crazy because I took the kids across the country to visit our favorite friends, the churchills! Traveling solo with two young kids was a bit crazy, but we survived! Caden didn't sleep at all on the way out until minutes before we landed in Boston. We spent the first day of the trip touring around Boston and visiting the Boston aquarium, which was awesome! The newest exhibit was the shark and ray touch tank that we all really enjoyed.

We spent the next few days exploring the Proctor Academy campus and the surrounding areas near the churchill's house. The kids loved catching the massive bullfrogs in the pond and screamed when they jumped out of the net. These were the loudest and largest bullfrogs I have ever seen! We visited an alpaca farm near proctor. The kids gave the alpacas nose kisses, chased chickens and barn cats, and saw a huge lunar moth.

Addie and Hannah called each other "twin sisters" and enjoyed doing everything together. William and Caden tried to play together, but are still a bit young. Instead, they pushed tractors and trucks around campus and played in the sandbox together.

The last few days of our trip were spent in Westerly, Rhode Island at Katelyn's family beach house. We went fishing, played on the beach, and relaxed in the sun. It was the perfect vacation for everyone!

Although the traveling was very difficult with the kids, the worst part was saying good bye to the Churchills! Thanks for a great visit and we can't wait to show you around our neck of the woods.
