More Reno photos

Four months old

Now that summer is officially upon us, we have been so much busier. Going to the park, swimming, road trip to Reno, and small hikes. Caden has been the best little baby! He has a mellow personality and he loves to smile and laugh at us. My only complaint about him is his sleep, but it might be partially my fault too! We went to the Sisters Rodeo this month and he was amazed at all the horses, cowboys, noises and people. He is noticing a lot more of his surroundings- like our dog Callie. He loves to be outside and with his big sister.

The highlight of this month was our trip to Reno. The Churchill clan met us there for a week and we packed it all in (with 4 kids under the age of 4 in toe). We spent a day at Sand Harbor, Rodeo Carnival, Scheel's to ride the Ferris wheel, pictures in Verdi, Reno Rodeo, shopping, and some pool time. Addie was begging to ride on the roller coaster at the carnival, so I let her. About half way through it she was trying to get out and staying "Mommy Stop!" I was very proud of her for even trying it by herself. She has no fear!

Caden is rolling over, getting very good at putting things in his mouth, and wanting to eat our food. He gets plenty of food and has a big belly to prove it!

The BIG 3-0

My birthday was extra special this year thanks to my amazing family and friends!! Sherril and Dustin came up for a quick visit a few days prior to my birthday. They are expecting a son in July so it was great to see her adorable baby bump. Matt and Leah got to town on Friday just in time for all the birthday celebrating! After dinner, we went to the Old Mill District to catch the Death Cab for Cuties Concert. Great show and awesome entertainment from Addie and Luke. Saturday amidst the blizzard we walked around downtown, ate at the Deschutes Brewery and shopped with out the husbands or kids (huge for me)! Saturday night we had a BBQ at our place and then Sunday was the big bike race (25 miles) for Matt and Ryan. Thanks for coming to visit us---we miss all our Idaho and NV friends so much!
