Letter to Santa

Addie wrote her letter to Santa asking for just about everything and she is convinced that she will get it all. We will have to wait to see what Santa brings her tomorrow morning! She made sure to notify Santa that we moved to a new house. She even included drawings of our family members and our ages. Addie was blown away when she received a letter from Santa in the mail saying that he got her letter and he would be by soon!

Recap

The past few months have been a crazy blur! Life has gotten away from us trying to prepare for the holidays and make the most of each day. I am so far behind with my blogging, but I admit that I am even farther behind with picture taking! Not a good thing.

Quick recap. Thanksgiving was spent in town with the McHugh family and a close friend of Ryan's from childhood, Norm Nash. Leslie prepared a delightfully delicious meal that we enjoyed down to the last bite. The hit of the night was playing Bird Bingo and having Addie as the Bingo caller. Even though she can't read the names of the exotic birds, she managed to scour every players' card and find the bird before we were able to. She amazes us with how smart she is!

My brother and his girlfriend came up for a quick 3 day visit and we packed in the activities. We cut down our Christmas tree, toured some local breweries and played lots of games with the kids. It was a wonderful visit and we are so thankful they made the long trip from LA to see us!

According to Addie, Christmas starts the day after thanksgiving. So we spend that day decorating the tree, the house, and hanging lights outside. She is super excited for Christmas this year! Makes the holidays even more special!
