RENO TOWN

We spent our spring break in Reno this year. We drove from Missoula to Spokane to catch our flight and spent the afternoon with the Pincock's. Addie was a super traveler- didn't make a peep on the plane. We had a busy week meeting up with friends and family. Addie was reintroduced to so many family members- thanks to all of you that traveled to come see us! We ended the trip with a big get together at Grandma and Grandpa Rentsch's house. Grandma McHugh made a surprise visit too (sorry that Grandad McHugh was unable to come). Addie got to meet her future boyfriend- Colby Goodnight- it was love at first sight!! We had a blast and wish that we could come back to visit more often.

Addie is 6 months old!

We can not believe that our little girl is already 6 months old!! Time has just flown by! Addie has been sitting up for over a month now and working on crawling. She still hates tummy time, so the rolling over still hasn't happened. Her two bottom teeth have popped through, but are still working on coming in all the way. She is loving rice cereal and sweet potatoes. She gets bored with her toys pretty easily, so we take her on lots of walks so that she can look around at all the pretty things in the world. In the last few days, Ryan has gotten a lot of good laughs out of her---she is ticklish now!! It is so cute to hear her giggle! She also loves to blow bubbles with her mouth and laugh at the doggies! She is such a joy!

The grandparents came out to visit us on March 5th to see their granddaughter and hang out in Missoula. We had a great time lounging around, talking, and playing with baby Addison. Riley purchased a new Chevy 1500 pickup while they were in Missoula that week. They were pretty excited to drive home in the smooth new ride with heated seats! Their son and daughter-in-law were also happy that they left the older truck here in Missoula. Ryan and Heidi now have a reliable 4-door truck that they can use to safely transport their baby girl. We had a great time and look forward to your next visit in May for my Master's graduation ceremony (assuming I finish)!

Addie is 5 months old

Addie has changed so much in the last few weeks. Her latest accomplishments are being able to sit up all by herself, eating rice cereal and loving it, taking her pacifier in and out, screaming like a bird, and grabbing everything in sight. Her grip is amazingly strong and she manages to take down whatever is within arms reach...be it your nose, hair, mouth, the dog's fur, a glass of water, your dinner!! She absolutely loves watching Kirra and Callie play, or for that matter just sitting there. She loves to laugh in response to the doggies, her toes, being tickled and of course random other times. Addie gets a kick out of her bath toys- literally!! She has just learned how to make motor boat noises and that she has ears!!! We love every minute of being with her!
