I am not sure why I haven't been able to keep up with my blog!! Couldn't be keeping up with 3 busy kids and their activities, the endless house work, cooking and laundry!! Ever since Hailey started crawling, my life has changed dramatically. She gets in to everything and eats whatever object is in her path. Therefore, I have to watch her like a hawk! She is still super sweet and mellow, just fast at moving around and disastrous!
Here are some pictures from the last few months:
We made a quick trip to Idaho and enjoyed seeing our friends! The kids loves night skiing at Rotarun:))
This sums up our kids perfectly! Addie is chatting away to Santa, Caden is getting in trouble and Hailey is being sweet and peaceful like she always is!!
We met up with a group of friends for the Christmas Tree hunt on Saturday. We all dispersed into the forest in search of the "perfect" tree and ended up finding a beautiful tree. The kids enjoyed running through the forest, eating a ton of marshmallows, and drinking hot cocoa. Great day with our friends.
On Friday, the kids and I were lucky enough to see Santa arrive in a helicopter to Bend, OR!! The kids were super excited (until Santa stepped out of the helicopter and then Caden wanted nothing to do with him)! Addie have him hugs, told him what she wanted for Christmas and ratted out her brother to the news crew that was interviewing her! She said that she had been good, but her brother has been naughty!! She ended up on the local news and the front page of the paper!
This year, we have some many reasons to be thankful! Most importantly for our children who bring us joy each and every day. Our supportive family and friends, the beautiful place to get to call home, and good fortune also top the list. 2013 has been a memorable year to say the least!
We celebrated Thanksgiving in Sisters with Riley, Leslie, and GG. Yummy dinner and great company.
This year Halloween was extra special because Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Bill came up to have fun with us! Addie dressed up as a mermaid with a princess crown and cowgirl boots and Caden wanted nothing to so with wearing a costume! He compromised on wearing camo to be like Daddy. Hailey was a cute pumpkin for her first Halloween!
We had fun walking around the Old Mill District and going on a wagon ride. Then we went trick or treating around our neighborhood. Thanks for coming up to visit grandma and grandpa!
With Addie in school, Caden and I have been spending a lot of time together. We have fun going on bike rides and walks in the forest. We hunt down all the construction sites so Caden can watch the trucks at work too! I love my little boy!!
We celebrated Addie's birthday with all our friends and family at Shevlin Park. The kids went on a scavenger hunt, played baseball, and had a piƱata! It was a great day celebrating our Addie!! It is hard to believe that she is already 5!! We love you so much!
My parents came up for the birthday fun!! Caden was super excited because he got to go fishing with Grandpa Bill!
