Springtime in Bend

Spring weather in Bend can change almost instantly. Ryan took the kids on a bike ride today and when they left it was sunny. They rode home in the snow! Addie is using her big bike now and she is able to ride really far and up hills. We are so proud of her!

Easter 2013

The Easter Bunny brought the kids some wonderful things in their Easter baskets and hid eggs outside. Addie and Caden woke up ready for the excitement! We went to church and participated in another egg hunt. Lots of candy later, we made it back home to rest.

Mighty Mites

Addie started ski lessons at Mt. Bachelor! She is in level 2 and so far has enjoyed it. She is working on going down the steep parts of the hill by herself. We are so proud of her!

Spring Break

The kids and I spent spring break in Reno with Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Bill. We had fun playing at the park, dying Easter eggs, helping Grandma bake cupcakes, and feeding the horses. My parents bought a Jeep to leave at the lake house and the kids loved to ride in it down the hill to feed the horses.
















The highlight of the trip for Addie was getting a manicure with Grandma! She asks for 2 different colors of nail polish, sparkles, and flowers. She knows exactly what she wants!




Addie and I also got a pedicure..much needed for me!
We took the kids to Scheel's and got trapped in there for a few hours. It is one of the largest sporting good stores. Addie and Grandma rode on the Ferris wheel, the kids played with every ball, enjoyed the indoor climbing structure, and fish tanks.








After dying the eggs, we had some practice egg hunts. Caden picked it up really fast and got in to it.

We loved spending the day with Aunt Shari and visiting Sherril and Joaquin. I also got to meet Deken, Eddie and Shele's baby and he was adorable! Thanks for a great trip. Until next time...we love you!
