Addie's friend, Camryn, celebrated her third birthday with a fun Halloween themed party. Addie was super excited to wear her big blue bunny costume and Caden didn't even know that he was a giraffe! All the kids looked adorable in their costumes and enjoyed painting pumpkins and playing games. Addie can't wait to wear her costume again a few more times.
You might be wondering why Addie isn't a cowgirl or a horse for Halloween. Her bunny costume was Ryan's when he was a little tot. His grandma made it for him and Leslie kept it for any grand kids!

pumpkins, ponies, and playland
What more could a kid ask for?! We went to the DD Ranch in Terrebone on Saturday and Addie could not get enough of everything that was there. Of course the pony ride was amazing and extra long. The owners of the ranch know us by now because we visit every venue with a pony ride within 30 miles of Bend. They get a kick out of Addie and her serious demeanor when riding on the pony. She doesn't talk or look around...no funny business, just pony riding! We ran into several of our friends and their little ones, which meant craziness and lots of laughs.
The playland was kinda rustic and a bit dangerous, but that made it even more fun for kids of all ages (and dads too)! The huge slide that you take a plastic sled down that abruptly ended on the hard ground was a major hit and Addie's response was "let's do that again!"
Pick your own pumpkins, dig up potatoes, pet all sorts of farm animals, hay rides, and amazingly delicious cinnamon kettle korn made for one heck of a good autumn day in central Oregon!
