Yesterday was Addie's first day at Mt. Bachelor (mine too, but I wasn't skiing). We rented her the full set up - skis, boots, and helmet because we knew the "bunny" hill at Bachelor was more advanced than normal. Addie loves to wear helmets, so we had no problem getting her to wear it. She loved riding the ski lift with Ryan and told him not to talk because she was watching people ski! She also demanded that Ryan go "straight down, no turns because straight is faster!" She is such a little dare devil! Of course, she wanted to go again and again, but we had to head back home for nap time.

Salmonberry
We can officially say that we are unpacked and settled in our house in BEND!! What a great feeling. Thanks to all our amazing helpers- both sets of our parents and Uncle Mark- the moving process went rather smooth and very quickly. We are enjoying our new neighborhood and the location of our house. The park is at the end of the street and an elementary school is right behind our house. We can walk to the river and to a grocery store. Best of all, Ryan is minutes from work and is able to stop in on his lunch breaks! We couldn't be happier having our own place to call home!

Hoodoo
Addie went out for her second day of skiing on Saturday. This time we went to Hoodoo Ski Resort about 20 minutes outside of Sisters. She was super excited to be back on her skis and was anxious to keep up with the big kids. We found a good "hill" for her to go zooming down (with the help of Ryan). She didn't want to stop, but the rain picked up and we were getting pretty drenched. Lucky for Addie, there was a coin operated horse in the ski lodge that became her best friend! As always, she asked for her helmet and brush (to take care of it)!
